Conference, to be held at Bhubaneswar from 24th November
to 26th November,2007.
IDEA is
the leading national professional body of academicians,
policy makers, administrators and all other stake
holders of distance and open learning system of
education. Member delegates are drawn from Open
Universities, Conventional Universities offering courses
in dual mode, Agriculture Universities, Extension
Education Institutes and other academic institutions.
It’s annual session provides a congenial platform to
academia, professionals, policy makers, distance
educators, activists and other interested in Distance
and Open Learning to meet, exchange views, share
research findings and experiences and debate all aspects
of ODL. IDEA over the years have attracted international
attention and participation. The major theme of the IDEA
2007 Conference is “Distance Teaching Learning : India’s
